About the Role:
We are seeking a highly detail-oriented Data Steward to manage and oversee the data ecosystem within the Travel and Lifestyle Services (TLS) domain. You will act as the primary bridge between business teams and technical stakeholders to ensure data integrity, quality, and compliance. This role focuses on implementing enterprise data policies, managing third-party data exchanges, and mitigating data risks across complex digital partner platforms.
Key Responsibilities:
- Implement Enterprise Data Governance standards and policies across the Travel and Lifestyle Services ecosystem.
- Document end-to-end Data Lineage from initial capture through to analytics and consumption.
- Oversee classifications for Systems of Record (SOR), Systems of Origin (SOO), and Authoritative Data Sources (ADS).
- Lead Data Quality initiatives and define controls within the Data Control Inventory.
- Manage Data Retention and deletion practices in alignment with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Partner with product engineering to embed governance into Application Programming Interfaces (APIs) and digital products.
- Develop dashboards and metrics in Tableau or Power BI to monitor data maturity and risk.
Essential Skills:
- Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Data Management, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in Data Governance, Data Risk, or Data Controls.
- Hands-on expertise with metadata tools such as Collibra or Manta.
- Proficiency in managing Critical Data Elements (CDEs) and Master Data Management concepts.
- Experience with Third-Party Data Integrations and partner-driven platforms.
Desirable Skills:
- Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Data Management Capability Assessment Model (DCAM) certification.
- Domain expertise in Hospitality, Loyalty Programs, or Financial Services.
- Experience with Root Cause Analysis for data incident management.
