Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Oracle Exadata Cloud Engineer with 10+ years of expertise in Oracle DBA, Exadata, and Linux to lead the migration, administration, optimization, and support of Oracle databases on OCI, including performance tuning, RAC/ASM/Data Guard management, automation, high availability and disaster recovery, while collaborating cross-functionally to ensure scalable, secure, and high-performing mission-critical systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead the migration, administration, optimization, and support of Oracle databases on OCI.
- Perform performance tuning for Oracle databases.
- Manage RAC/ASM/Data Guard configurations.
- Implement automation for database operations.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery solutions are in place.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure system scalability and security.
- Support mission-critical systems.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) technologies and best practices.
Qualifications
- 10+ years of experience as an Oracle DBA.
- Extensive experience with Oracle Exadata Cloud.
- Strong expertise in Linux environments.
- Proficiency in Oracle database administration, including RAC, ASM, and Data Guard.
- Experience with performance tuning and optimization.
- Knowledge of automation tools and scripting.
- Understanding of high availability and disaster recovery concepts.
- Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) is highly preferred.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
