Role Description: Databricks Python L2 Support Engineer
We are seeking a skilled Databricks Python L2 Support Engineer to join our team. This role involves providing extensive support for integration services, analyzing issues to determine root causes, and understanding batch programs and interfaces within the Aptos Store Inventory Management System. The ideal candidate will be responsible for handling high-priority incidents (P1/P2) until their closure, ensuring smooth operations and timely resolution of critical issues.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive L2 support for integration services.
- Analyze technical issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
- Gain a deep understanding of batch programs and interfaces specific to the Aptos Store Inventory Management System.
- Manage and resolve high-priority incidents (P1 and P2) efficiently and effectively.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and system stability.
- Document troubleshooting steps, resolutions, and system configurations.
- Participate in on-call rotations as needed for critical incident support.
Technical Skills Required:
- Proficiency in Python for scripting and data manipulation.
- Experience with Databricks for data engineering and analytics.
- Strong understanding of PL/SQL for database operations.
- Familiarity with ServiceNow for IT service management.
- Experience in L2 support and incident management.
- Knowledge of batch processing and interface management.
Additional Information:
This is a contract position based in Arden, Delaware. We are looking for candidates who can start immediately and contribute to our ongoing projects. The role requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
