Position Summary
KK Software Associates is looking for a dedicated Datastage Developer for a 100% onsite role in Columbus, Ohio. This position is critical for our client’s data integration and warehousing initiatives. You will be responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining complex ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using IBM InfoSphere DataStage. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in database management and a passion for data integrity and performance optimization.
Core Responsibilities
- Design and develop ETL jobs using DataStage to move data from various sources into target data warehouses.
- Write and optimize complex PL/SQL queries and stored procedures to support data processing requirements.
- Perform functional and automation testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of data pipelines.
- Collaborate with data architects and business analysts to understand data requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues related to ETL jobs and database performance.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation for all developed ETL processes and data flows.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Proven experience as a Datastage Developer with a deep understanding of ETL best practices.
- Strong proficiency in PL/SQL and relational database management systems (RDBMS).
- Experience in automation testing and functional testing within a data-centric environment.
- Ability to work onsite in Columbus, OH, and collaborate effectively with local team members.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with a high attention to detail.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
