Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Devops Automation Engineer to join our team. This role is crucial for designing, building, and maintaining the tooling that enhances the reliability, speed, and scalability of our cloud environments. The position is hands-on and code-driven, with a significant focus on Python-based automation and configuration management using Ansible, YAML, and JSON.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust automation solutions, primarily utilizing Python, Ansible, YAML, and JSON, to support cloud infrastructure and platform operations.
- Build and enhance internal automation tools, scripts, and frameworks that streamline deployment, configuration, monitoring, and day-to-day operations.
- Collaborate effectively with engineering and operations teams to identify manual processes and transform them into repeatable, automated workflows.
- Optimize existing automation through refactoring, improved data models (YAML/JSON), and the adoption of cloud-native toolsets.
- Troubleshoot and debug automation issues across various cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Produce clear and comprehensive documentation for automation workflows, tooling, and engineering best practices.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Proven experience as a Devops Automation Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming for automation.
- Extensive experience with configuration management tools such as Ansible.
- Proficiency in working with YAML and JSON for data modeling and configuration.
- Solid understanding of cloud environments and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) principles and tools.
- Familiarity with Golang is a plus.
- Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
