Role Overview: Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Cloud Engineer with a minimum of 10 years of professional experience to join our dynamic team in Eden Prairie, Minnesota. This role is critical for managing and optimizing our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security across all environments. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of cloud-native technologies and a proven track record of implementing robust CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure as code (IaC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP, focusing on automation and reliability.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery and deployment processes.
- Utilize Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or Ansible to manage environment configurations.
- Orchestrate containerized applications using Kubernetes and Docker, ensuring efficient resource utilization and service discovery.
- Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Prometheus, Grafana, and ELK stack.
- Collaborate with development and security teams to integrate DevSecOps practices into the software development lifecycle.
- Optimize cloud costs through resource rightsizing, reserved instances, and architectural improvements.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Troubleshoot complex production issues, performing root cause analysis and implementing long-term fixes.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure our infrastructure remains cutting-edge.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or Cloud Engineering roles.
- Expertise in at least one major cloud provider (AWS, Azure, or GCP) with relevant certifications.
- Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Go.
- Extensive experience with Kubernetes, Docker, and container orchestration.
- Proven experience with IaC tools (Terraform/Ansible) and CI/CD platforms (Jenkins/GitLab/GitHub Actions).
- Solid understanding of networking, security, and database management in the cloud.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
