About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled DevOps Engineer to join a long-term project focused on build/deploy automation and database deployment workflow. This is a contract position requiring an onsite hybrid presence in either Charlotte or Raleigh, NC.
Job Description:
- Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for efficient software delivery.
- Implement and manage build and deployment automation processes.
- Design and execute database deployment and migration strategies using tools like Liquibase.
- Utilize Python scripting for automation tasks.
- Manage version control systems, primarily Git.
- Implement and maintain environment and configuration management solutions.
- Ensure database performance basics and SQL proficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Build, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment pipelines.
- Automation: Develop and implement automation scripts (Python) for build, deployment, and operational tasks.
- Database Deployment & Migration: Manage database schema changes and migrations using Liquibase, ensuring data integrity and consistency.
- Database Skills: Possess a strong understanding of SQL and basic database performance tuning principles.
- Version Control: Proficiently use Git for source code management and collaboration.
- Configuration Management: Implement and manage infrastructure and application configurations.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $70,000 – $100,000 per year (Estimated)
