Job Title: DevOps Engineer
We are seeking a highly experienced DevOps Engineer with 12+ years of experience for a long-term, onsite position in Dallas, TX. Locals are preferred.
Responsibilities:
- Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines.
- Automate infrastructure provisioning and management using tools like Terraform or Ansible.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation.
- Manage cloud infrastructure (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ensure security best practices are followed.
- Develop and maintain scripting for automation.
- Participate in on-call rotation for incident response.
- Work with containerization technologies like Docker and Kubernetes.
- Optimize system performance and cost.
- Maintain documentation for systems and processes.
- Troubleshoot complex technical issues across the stack.
- Implement and manage logging and monitoring solutions.
- Ensure high availability and disaster recovery strategies are in place.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest DevOps trends and technologies.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of our infrastructure and processes.
- Work closely with software developers to understand application requirements and deployment needs.
- Manage version control systems (e.g., Git).
- Implement and manage configuration management tools.
- Ensure compliance with security policies and regulations.
- Participate in architectural discussions and provide input on infrastructure design.
- Develop and execute test plans for infrastructure changes.
- Manage and maintain build and release processes.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.
- Troubleshoot and resolve production issues in a timely manner.
- Contribute to the development of infrastructure as code.
- Ensure the reliability, scalability, and security of our systems.
- Perform root cause analysis for production incidents.
- Implement and manage security scanning tools.
- Automate operational tasks.
- Manage cloud security posture.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL best practices.
- Manage and monitor cloud resources.
- Implement and manage secrets management solutions.
- Automate security patching and updates.
- Contribute to the development of operational runbooks.
- Perform capacity planning and performance tuning.
- Manage and monitor network infrastructure.
- Implement and manage database administration tasks.
- Ensure data integrity and backup strategies are in place.
- Troubleshoot and resolve database performance issues.
- Manage and monitor application performance.
- Implement and manage caching solutions.
- Develop and maintain API gateways.
- Ensure compliance with data privacy regulations.
- Contribute to the development of security policies.
- Perform security audits and vulnerability assessments.
- Implement and manage intrusion detection systems.
- Automate security incident response.
- Manage and monitor security logs.
- Develop and maintain security awareness training.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific security standards.
- Contribute to the development of business continuity plans.
- Perform risk assessments and mitigation planning.

- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.

- Manage and monitor security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain security documentation.
- Ensure the security of all systems and data.
Requirements:
- 12+ years of experience in DevOps or related fields.
- Strong experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, GitLab CI, etc.).
- Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash, etc.).
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Expertise in infrastructure as code tools (Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation).
- Experience with containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of networking and security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills.
- Must have a valid visa and be eligible to work in the US.
- Locals to Dallas, TX are preferred.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $50 – $57 per year
