Job Role: Digital Technical Product Manager

Scalable Systems Inc. is seeking a skilled Digital Technical Product Manager with 8+ years of experience for an onsite contract role in San Antonio, TX. This position offers a C2C/W2 contract type.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Digital Product Management and Product Ownership: Drive the strategy, development, and execution of digital products.
  • Product Vision and Strategy: Define and articulate product vision, strategy, and roadmap, ensuring alignment with overarching business objectives.
  • Requirements Translation: Translate complex business requirements into detailed technical specifications, epics, and user stories for development teams.
  • Technical Understanding: Possess a strong understanding of APIs, microservices architecture, and various system integrations.
  • Cloud Platforms: Experience working with major cloud platforms including Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • DevOps and SRE: Knowledge of DevOps principles, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring tools, and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) fundamentals.
  • Data Engineering Concepts: Familiarity with data engineering concepts such as Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), data models, and analytics.
  • Agile/Scrum Methodologies: Extensive experience in Agile and Scrum product development methodologies.
  • Backlog Management: Proficient in managing product backlogs and utilizing prioritization frameworks like RICE, MoSCoW, and WSJF.
  • User Experience (UX): Strong focus on digital user experience, user research, and A/B testing to optimize product usability and effectiveness.
  • Data Analytics and KPIs: Utilize data analytics, Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and dashboards to track and report on product performance.
  • Enterprise Architecture: Strong understanding of enterprise architecture, system design principles, and data flow mechanisms.
  • Security and Compliance: Knowledge of security, compliance, and regulatory requirements, particularly within BFSI (Banking, Financial Services, and Insurance) environments.
  • Domain Knowledge: Strong understanding of the Personal Insurance domain, including Sales, Billing, and Payments processes.
  • Stakeholder Management: Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
  • Innovation and Lifecycle Management: Ability to drive innovation, continuous improvement, and effectively manage the entire product lifecycle.

Required Experience:

  • 8+ years of experience in Digital Product Management and Product Ownership.
  • Proven experience in defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
  • Demonstrated ability to translate business needs into technical requirements.
  • Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Proficiency in Agile/Scrum methodologies.
  • Experience with product backlog management and prioritization.
  • Strong understanding of UX principles and data-driven decision-making.
  • Familiarity with BFSI domain and security/compliance standards.
