Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Digital Technical Product Manager to define product vision and roadmap aligned with business strategy and customer needs. This role involves translating business requirements into technical specifications, collaborating with engineering teams, and owning the product backlog for timely delivery. You will manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, drive digital user experience, and utilize data analytics for informed decision-making. Ensuring compliance, security, and regulatory alignment is crucial, especially in BFSI and other regulated industries. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define product vision and roadmap aligned with business strategy and customer needs.
- Translate business requirements into technical requirements, user stories, and detailed specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering and architecture teams to design scalable, secure digital solutions.
- Own and prioritize the product backlog, ensuring timely and quality delivery.
- Lead end-to-end product lifecycle: planning, development, testing, release, and post-launch optimization.
- Drive digital user experience (UX) by partnering with design teams and validating via user research.
- Use data and analytics to track product performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Ensure compliance, security, and regulatory alignment, especially in BFSI and other regulated industries.
- Manage cross-functional stakeholders and communicate product status, risks, and milestones.
- Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and technical excellence within the product team.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong knowledge in Personal Insurance domain, Insurance Sales, Services, payments and billing.
- Strong understanding of APIs, microservices, integrations, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Ability to interpret architecture diagrams, data flows, and system design.
- Knowledge of DevOps, CI/CD, monitoring, SRE fundamentals.
- Familiarity with data engineering concepts (ETL, data models, analytics).
- Product visioning, roadmap planning, and strategic thinking.
- Writing epics, user stories, acceptance criteria.
- Backlog prioritization using PM frameworks (RICE, MoSCoW, WSJF).
- Strong grasp of Agile Scrum execution.
- Data-driven decision making using KPIs, dashboards, and analytics.
- Ability to run and interpret A/B tests and experiments.
- Structured problem-solving and root cause analysis.
- Clear communication across engineering, UX, business, and compliance.
- Influencing without authority and driving alignment.
- Risk management, negotiation, and decision-making under ambiguity.
- Deeper understanding in Sales, Billing, and payments.
