Job Title: DR Coordinator

We are looking for a skilled DR Coordinator for a 12+ month contract position in Irvine, CA. This hybrid role requires extensive experience in Disaster Recovery (DR) planning, testing, and quality assurance. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with various stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Disaster Recovery Plan Quality Assurance: Validate DR plan questionnaires and templates, identify inconsistencies, and communicate findings to application owners.
  • DR Testing: Review DR test results and supporting evidence, ensuring accuracy and completeness. Escalate insufficient evidence and coordinate with application teams for resolution.
  • Follow-ups and Stakeholder Coordination: Proactively engage application owners to track DR plan and test status, manage records, and ensure deadlines are met. Assist with DR Veoci tracker.
  • Training: Lead training workshops for application SMEs and product owners on DR principles, best practices, and compliance expectations.
  • Conduct structured Q.A. reviews of application DR plans using defined checklists.
  • Support the team during DR events, Scrams, and TTXs.

Required Skills and Attributes:

  • Technical and Resiliency Skills: Experience developing, reviewing, and testing DR plans. Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation and translating complex DR concepts. Skill in conducting hands-on training sessions and scenario-based exercises.
  • Resilience and Follow Through: Demonstrated ability to sustain repeated follow-ups and stakeholder outreach, even with delayed or unresponsive teams. Comfortable operating in a compliance-driven environment.
  • Critical Thinking and Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret technical documentation, identify gaps, inconsistencies, or weak assumptions within DR plans and test evidence. Skilled at developing reports to track progress against key metrics and KPIs. Strong Excel skills and ability to utilize AI effectively.
  • Communication and Professional Judgment: Confidence and professionalism to ask probing, clarifying questions. Ability to provide constructive, actionable feedback while maintaining positive working relationships.
  • Familiarity with utilizing disaster recovery (DR) tracking tools, such as Veoci, is a strong plus.
  • Experience with AI is a plus.

Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of relevant experience.
  • Experience developing, reviewing, and testing DR plans.
  • Proficiency in interpreting technical documentation.
  • Skill in conducting training sessions and scenario-based exercises.
  • Expertise in identifying gaps, inconsistencies, and compliance issues.
  • Strong Excel skills.

Additional Information:

  • This is a hybrid role based in Irvine, CA.
  • Duration: 12+ Month Contract.
  • Only CA Locals are preferred.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $55 – $75 per year (Estimated)
