Role Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Dynamics 365 Finance Functional Coordinator for a high-impact hybrid role based in Burr Ridge, IL. This position serves as the critical link between our operational departments and the executive leadership, specifically the CFO. As a Functional Coordinator, you will not be performing deep technical configurations or development; instead, you will be the orchestrator of information, ensuring that the ERP system aligns perfectly with business needs and that users are fully supported in their daily workflows.

Key Responsibilities

  • Facilitate and attend high-level meetings and calls, capturing detailed notes and tracking action items to ensure project momentum.
  • Act as a primary liaison between end-users in finance, operations, and manufacturing departments and the CFO.
  • Gather cross-departmental feedback to communicate and align functional priorities with the organization’s strategic direction.
  • Develop and deliver basic training and onboarding materials for Dynamics 365 Finance workflows, including user guides and live walkthroughs.
  • Address functional inquiries and troubleshoot user issues, escalating complex technical bugs to the appropriate dev teams.
  • Drive system adoption through consistent documentation and the identification of process improvement opportunities.
  • Support the month-end close and budgeting cycles by ensuring data integrity within the D365 environment.

Required Qualifications

  • Proven familiarity with Microsoft Dynamics 365, with a strong preference for the Finance module.
  • Deep understanding of core financial processes including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and financial reporting.
  • Exceptional organizational skills with a proactive approach to meeting management and documentation.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, capable of communicating effectively with both shop-floor operators and C-suite executives.
  • Ability to work in a hybrid capacity in the Burr Ridge, IL area.

Preferred Experience

  • Microsoft Dynamics certifications or extensive experience as a ‘Super User’ in an ERP environment.
  • Background in manufacturing or operational finance.
  • Proficiency in the broader Microsoft stack, including advanced Excel and Microsoft Teams for collaboration.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $115,000 – $148,000 per year (Estimated)
