Job Description:

We have an urgent need for an experienced Electronics Controls Engineer for a long-term contract position in Columbus, IN. This role requires a strong background in embedded systems validation and electronics controls, with a focus on automotive or similar industries.

Key Responsibilities and Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related technical field.
  • 8 or more years of experience in embedded systems validation or electronics controls.
  • Explicit mention of OTA testing and validation scenario design.
  • Experience with CAN, J1939, or UDS protocols and tools such as CANalyzer or PCAN.
  • Demonstrated use of automation scripting or tool development to improve testing efficiency.
  • Prior experience leading or mentoring engineers, even informally.
  • Familiarity with Agile practices and PLM systems for test artifact management.
  • Exposure to cloud platforms such as Azure or AWS, even at a basic level.
  • Experience supporting OEM customers or external partners in an integration capacity.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $70,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
