Position Summary
Quantum World Technologies is seeking a dedicated Endpoint Technician for a long-term engagement in Chelmsford, MA. This role is critical for maintaining the operational efficiency of our client’s hardware and software infrastructure. The ideal candidate will be a hands-on problem solver capable of diagnosing and resolving complex technical issues across a variety of devices and platforms.
Core Responsibilities
- Hardware Support: Diagnose, repair, and upgrade a wide range of computer hardware, including laptops, desktops, servers, network switches, and mobile devices. You will also be responsible for maintaining peripheral equipment such as printers, copiers, plotters, and video conferencing systems.
- Software & OS Management: Provide expert-level support for Windows Operating Systems, Microsoft Office suites, and Office 365 environments. Ensure all endpoint devices are updated with the latest security patches and software versions.
- Mobile & Virtualization: Manage iOS and other mobile device platforms within the enterprise. Utilize VM (Virtual Machine) tools for troubleshooting and environment management.
- Installation & Deployment: Execute hardware and software installations and upgrades following established protocols. This includes imaging new machines and migrating user data during hardware refresh cycles.
- Troubleshooting: Perform root cause analysis for recurring technical issues and implement permanent solutions to minimize downtime for end-users.
Technical Requirements
- Proven experience in hardware maintenance and repair for enterprise-level equipment.
- Deep understanding of the Microsoft ecosystem, including O365 and Windows 10/11.
- Experience with mobile device management (MDM) and iOS support.
- Familiarity with networking hardware such as switches and basic server maintenance.
- Ability to work with virtualization tools and remote support software.
Additional Information
This is a 100% onsite position requiring the technician to be present at the Chelmsford, MA facility 5 days a week. The role is intended for a long-term contract duration. Candidates should possess excellent customer service skills and the ability to communicate technical information to non-technical staff effectively. Physical ability to lift and move computer equipment is required.

5 days onsite; Long-term contract; Local to Chelmsford/Boston area preferred.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $65,000 – $85,000 per year (Estimated)
