Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ETL Developer to design, develop, and maintain ETL workflows using Precisely ETL tools, including Precisely Connect, Data Integrity Suite, Data360, and Trillium. The role involves building and optimizing complex data pipelines for batch and near-real-time data integration, performing data extraction, transformation, validation, profiling, and loading from multiple source systems. The candidate will ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across enterprise data platforms.
- Collaborate with business analysts, data architects, and stakeholders to understand and translate data requirements.
- Optimize ETL performance, improve run times, and troubleshoot complex data issues.
- Implement robust error handling, logging, monitoring, and recovery mechanisms for ETL jobs.
- Support data migrations, system upgrades, and platform modernization initiatives.
- Develop and maintain ETL documentation, technical specifications, and data lineage artifacts.
- Mentor junior developers and promote best practices in ETL and data integration.
- Adhere to data governance, security, and compliance standards.
Role Responsibilities:
- Receive epic and feature assignments, along with general direction, from the Train Architect.
- Partner with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and development technical leads to refine and fully understand requirements.
- Collaborate with Solution Domain Lead Architects, when necessary, to seek guidance or validate solutions impacting other domains.
- Work closely with Integration Architects to deliver solution artifacts, including sketches, presentations, and architectural diagrams.
- Continuously build and refine business and systems subject matter expertise.
- Leverage existing architecture patterns for solutions and create new patterns when addressing uncharted use cases.
- Present solution sketches and architectural designs to stakeholders, including architecture teams, infrastructure SMEs, and business partners, for review and feedback.
- Facilitate meetings with stakeholders, partners, and delivery teams.
- Stay current with emerging technologies and industry trends, applying them to projects when appropriate.
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers.
Must-Have Qualifications:
- 8 years of hands-on experience in ETL and data integration development.
- Deep expertise with Precisely ETL tools (Precisely Connect, Data360, Trillium, or similar products).
- Strong experience with relational databases, such as Oracle, SQL Server, DB2, PostgreSQL.
- Advanced SQL skills for data analysis, tuning, and validation.
- Experience working with large-scale, high-volume datasets.
- Understanding of data warehousing concepts, dimensional modeling, and data lifecycle management.
- Experience in Unix/Linux environments and scripting.
- Familiarity with scheduling tools such as Control-M, Autosys, or similar platforms.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.

Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
