Role Overview: Lead Informatica Developer (ETL/MDM)
We are seeking a highly experienced and strategic ETL MDM Lead Informatica Developer to join our dynamic team in Plano, Texas. This role is critical for overseeing the design, development, and implementation of complex data integration solutions and Master Data Management (MDM) frameworks. As a lead, you will be responsible for driving technical excellence, mentoring junior developers, and ensuring that our data architecture supports the evolving needs of the business in the 2026 landscape.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Leadership
- Lead the end-to-end design and development of ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter and Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS).
- Architect and maintain robust Master Data Management (MDM) solutions, including Hub configuration, match/merge rules, and data stewardship workflows.
- Oversee Data Quality (IDQ) initiatives to ensure high-fidelity data across all enterprise systems.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define data requirements and translate them into scalable technical specifications.
- Perform complex performance tuning of mappings, sessions, and SQL queries to optimize data throughput.
- Implement automated testing frameworks for ETL pipelines to ensure data integrity and reduce manual intervention.
- Drive the adoption of CI/CD practices within the data engineering team using tools like Jenkins or Azure DevOps.
- Provide expert-level troubleshooting for production issues, ensuring minimal downtime for critical data assets.
- Stay abreast of emerging trends in cloud data warehousing (Snowflake, Databricks) and integrate these technologies into the Informatica ecosystem.
Qualifications and Experience Requirements
- Minimum of 12 years of professional experience in data engineering and ETL development.
- Proven track record of leading large-scale Informatica MDM implementations.
- Expertise in Informatica PowerCenter, IDQ, and MDM Multi-domain Edition.
- Strong proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and shell scripting.
- Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS or Azure is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to present technical concepts to non-technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $155,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
