Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced ETL Report Developer to join our team in Washington, DC. This is a hybrid role requiring candidates to be local to the DMV area. The primary focus will be on developing and implementing an Open Payment Solution for Metro customers, enabling fare payments using contactless open payment media. The solution must support various customer types and payment methods, integrating with regional partner systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement an Open Payment Solution that allows Metro customers to pay fares using their own contactless open payment media.
- Support full-fare and senior customers, enabling tap-and-pay using contactless bank cards for Metro rail, bus, and parking services.
- Ensure the solution accepts domestically and internationally issued contactless bank cards.
- Apply exceptional application architecture and software development skills.
- Document application architecture using Microsoft Visio or similar visualization software.
- Perform basic software requirements documentation using MS Excel.
- Understand and work with the reporting of data within enterprise applications.
- Coordinate software requirements and collaborate with development teams.
- Plan and deploy complex custom Web application programs and process improvements.
- Perform the application architecture function from conception to deployment.
- Document the relationship of application architectures using Visio and Moqups.
- Engage in data modeling (conceptual, logical, physical), data conversion, data integration, and data mining, with a specialization in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence.
- Handle data import from Vendor cloud.
Qualifications:
- Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Communications, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of exceptional application architecture and software development skills.
- 5 years of experience using Microsoft Visio or other data/application visualization software.
- 5 years of experience using MS Excel for software requirements documentation.
- 5 years of experience with reporting data within enterprise applications.
- 5 years of familiarity with MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- 5 years of experience coordinating software requirements and working with development teams.
- 5 years of proven ability to plan and deploy complex custom Web application programs and process improvements.
- 5 years of experience performing the application architecture function.
- 5 years of experience using Visio and Moqups to document application architectures.
- Experience in Data Modeling design, analysis, and implementation (conceptual, logical, physical).
- Experience in Data conversion, Data integration, and Data Mining, specializing in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence.
- Experience with data import from Vendor cloud.
