Job Title: ETL Report Developer
Location: Hybrid (Washington DC – Candidates must be Local to the DMV area)

Job Summary:
We are looking for an experienced ETL Report Developer to join our team. This role will involve planning, designing, and implementing sophisticated applications for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL). The developer will work on data warehousing, data modeling, data integration, and business intelligence initiatives to support the Open Payment project. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data management, reporting, and application architecture, with a proven ability to deliver complex solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, automate, and support sophisticated applications for data extraction, transformation, and loading (ETL).
- Engage in data warehousing, data modeling, data integration, data migration, ETL processes, and Business Intelligence activities.
- Perform data modeling design, analysis, and implementation, including conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling.
- Handle data conversion, data integration, and data mining, specializing in Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence areas.
- Manage data import from vendor clouds.
- Ensure the accuracy and integrity of data throughout the ETL process.
- Create logical and physical data flow models for ETL applications.
- Collaborate with implementation vendors and stakeholders to understand requirements and architecture for developing components.
- Support the development of solutions that enable customers to pay fares using their own contactless open payment media.
- Ensure the solution supports full-fare and senior customers and enables tap-and-pay using contactless bank cards for various services.
- Review and assist with system hardening and vulnerability remediation.
- Proactively solve problems to ensure milestones are met and projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Document application architecture using tools like MS Visio or other visualization software.
- Coordinate software requirements and work effectively with development teams.
- Perform the application architecture function from conception to deployment.
- Document the relationship of application architectures using Visio and Moqups.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Communications, Finance, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
- 5 years of exceptional application architecture and software development skills.
- 5 years of experience using Microsoft (MS) Visio or other data/application visualization software to document application architecture.
- 5 years of experience using MS Excel for basic software requirements documentation.
- 5 years of experience with reporting data within enterprise applications.
- 5 years of familiarity with MS Word and MS PowerPoint.
- 5 years of experience coordinating software requirements and working with development teams.
- 5 years of proven ability to plan and deploy complex custom web application programs and process improvements.
- 5 years of experience performing the application architecture function, from conception to deployment.
- 5 years of experience using Visio and Moqups to document application architectures.
- Strong analytical, verbal communication, and written communication skills.
- Experience with administration and architecture of Business Process Management.
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must be local to the DMV area.
- Experience with contactless payment systems is a plus.
- Familiarity with enterprise applications and data warehousing concepts.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
