Role: ETL Test Lead / MDM Data Test Engineer
This role focuses on defining and implementing test data strategies for MDM ETL applications. The ideal candidate will lead the testing of ETL pipelines for data marts and data warehouses, ensuring data integrity and quality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement test data strategies for MDM ETL applications.
- Lead the testing of ETL pipelines for data marts and data warehouses.
- Identify data validation scenarios to ensure comprehensive coverage of data migration, transformation, and integration processes.
- Design, develop, and optimize tests to validate ETL workflows.
- Validate data governance, data quality rules, and golden record creation.
- Write and review complex SQL queries for data validation based on specified business rules and transformation logic.
- Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and development teams to fully understand data requirements and guarantee thorough coverage.
- Automate test data generation and provisioning processes.
Primary Skills:
- Extensive experience in MDM testing.
- Hands-on experience in ETL testing.
- Advanced proficiency in SQL for developing complex queries and stored procedures.
- Strong understanding of data modeling, relational databases, and data warehousing concepts.
- Experience conducting data quality checks and troubleshooting data-related issues.
- Solid knowledge of Python for automation and data processing.
Secondary Skills:
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Exposure to cloud-based data platforms such as Azure Data Factory.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $93,600 – $104,000 per year (Estimated)
