Job Summary:
We are seeking an Expert Business Analyst to act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. This role involves evaluating business operations, identifying and documenting processes, analyzing data, and defining project requirements. You will create specifications for development teams and manage requirements throughout the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
- Evaluate business operations to identify and document as-is and to-be processes.
- Analyze data and define project requirements.
- Create specifications for development teams.
- Elicit, analyze, communicate, validate, and verify requirements for to-be systems.
- Work closely with project managers, technical team members, and other stakeholders.
- Identify and scope stated business problems and recommend solutions.
- Convey software user demands to developers and ensure clear articulation of requirements.
- Create as-is and to-be business process flows.
- Conduct requirements workshops and JAD sessions.
- Create business requirements documents (BRD), context diagrams, system specifications, use cases, workflow diagrams, report and screen mockups, swim lane diagrams, and prototypes.
- Ensure compliance with ITS governance and Secure Systems Development Lifecycle (SSDLC).
- Manage requirements throughout the contract lifecycle using a requirements management plan and traceability.
Qualifications:
- 84+ months of experience providing guidance to large teams and/or extensive industry experience.
- 84 months of experience eliciting and analyzing stakeholder business needs using various techniques, converting them into verified and validated functional and non-functional requirements.
- 84 months of experience creating and maintaining software development artifacts (BRDs, use cases, report mockups, wireframes, flow diagrams, context diagrams, swim lane diagrams, etc.).
- 84 months of experience facilitating requirements workshops (JAD sessions, structured walkthroughs).
- 72 months of experience managing requirements throughout the lifecycle, including requirements management plans, traceability matrices, baselines, and change control.
- 64 months of experience creating test plans and test cases, and working with users on User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
- 48 months of experience working on healthcare systems with HIPAA Protected Health Information (PHI).
- CBAP (Certified Business Analysis Professional) certification by the IIBA is preferred.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
