Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Facets Benefit Configuration Consultant to join our remote team. This role requires a deep understanding of the Facets platform and its core processing systems, with a specific emphasis on Benefit Configuration. You will be responsible for analyzing benefit grids for ASO renewals and new groups, understanding non-standard and custom benefits, and working closely with the sales intake team for any clarifications or corrections. The role involves completing design and paper builds for products, performing unit testing of benefit builds, and coordinating with the testing team to resolve defects. You will also be responsible for validating configuration builds and promoting them to production, as well as supporting post-production incidents or change requests for groups.
Key Responsibilities:
- Analyze benefit grid for ASO renewal and new groups to understand non-standard and custom benefits.
- Work with sales intake team for any clarifications on benefits or corrections to benefit grids.
- Complete design/paper build for products.
- Unit test benefit build.
- Coordinate with testing team for defects.
- Validate configuration build and promote to production.
- Support post-production incidents or change requests for groups.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong Facets configuration background in addition to other core processing systems (Facets Benefit Configuration is a must).
- Medical Plan and Application Support SME is preferred with both front and back-end building experience.
- Additional expertise in claims, group, billing, provider demographics, pricing, capitation is highly desirable.
- Understanding of multiple system application groups.
- Experience with querying Facets data via SQL or other backend tools is required.
- Understand data model and table dependencies.
- Understand and have been involved in system upgrades, new releases, change packages.
- Strong technical and analytical experience.
- Good understanding of business operational practices.
- Experience in project lifecycle and deliverable dependencies.
- Experienced with root cause analysis of issues.
- Strong process and technical improvement skills.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
