Role Descriptions:

Developer designs, configures, and customizes Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using the ForgeRock Identity Platform (AM, IDM, DS, IG) to secure applications. Key duties include developing custom Java Groovy modules, implementing SAML OAuth, integrating with existing systems, and providing production support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Solution Implementation: Design, install, and configure ForgeRock components (OpenAM, OpenIDMIDM, OpenDJ, OpenIG).
  • Customization Development: Develop custom authentication modules, scripts, and plugins using Java and Groovy.
  • Integration: Integrate ForgeRock solutions with web services, APIs, and enterprise applications to ensure secure, seamless authorization.
  • Maintenance Support: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support during production outages.
  • Security Compliance: Implement security policies, manage directory services (LDAP), and ensure compliance with industry standards (SAML, OAuth, OIDC).
  • Documentation: Create technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, workflows, and configuration guides.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience: 3 to 5 years of experience with ForgeRock products and Identity Access Management principles.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in Java, JavaScript, and scripting languages (Groovy, Python).
  • Protocols: Deep understanding of IAM protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, SAML 2.0, and LDAP.
  • Platforms: Knowledge of directory services (OpenDJ) and authentication/authorization servers (OpenAM, OpenIG).
  • Education: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Methodologies: Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or CICD environments.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with DevOps tools (Docker, Kubernetes) for deploying ForgeRock containers.
  • Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC).
  • Excellent communication skills for working with cross-functional teams.

Essential Skills:

Compensation & Location

Salary: $90,000 – $130,000 per year (Estimated)
