Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled FreeSwitch Software Engineer with 5-10 years of experience to join our team. This role requires a strong background in SIP, C/C++, and FreeSWITCH development. The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining our FreeSWITCH-based communication systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement new features for the FreeSWITCH platform.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to SIP, VoIP, and FreeSWITCH.
- Optimize system performance and ensure high availability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and deliver new capabilities.
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient C/C++ code.
- Work with SIP media gateways and Session Border Controllers.
- Ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices.
Required Skills and Experience
- 5-10 years of experience with SIP.
- 5-10 years of experience with C/C++.
- 2-5 years of experience with FreeSWITCH.
- Experience with SIP Stack and SIPUA.
- Experience with Voice/VoIP technologies.
- Familiarity with SIP media gateways and Session Border Controllers is a plus.
- Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
- Must be local to Austin, TX with a local driver’s license.
- Must have a LinkedIn profile.
