Job Summary:

We are urgently hiring for a Front-End Developer position with a 12-month contract duration. This role requires a senior engineer with extensive experience in modern front-end technologies. The work location is Dearborn, MI, and local candidates are strongly preferred.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain user-facing features using React and TypeScript.
  • Build reusable code and libraries for future use.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Collaborate with back-end developers and UI/UX designers.
  • Implement responsive designs that work across various devices and browsers.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
  • Troubleshoot and debug front-end issues.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging front-end technologies and best practices.

Required Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of overall IT experience.
  • 8+ years of experience in development.
  • Strong practical experience in at least two coding languages or advanced practical experience in one.
  • Strong experience with React and TypeScript.
  • Proficiency in modern JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
  • Experience with Tailwind CSS.
  • Working knowledge of Node.js, Express, and PostgreSQL.
  • Experience using Docker in development workflows.
  • Familiarity with RESTful APIs and Git-based version control.

Additional Information:

  • This is a 12-month contract position.
  • Local candidates to Dearborn, MI are strongly preferred.
  • Interviews will be conducted via video conference (Teams).
  • The interview process consists of one round, approximately 1 hour long.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)
