Role Overview: Senior Front End Developer
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Front End Developer to join our dynamic engineering team in the San Francisco Bay Area. This onsite role, based in San Francisco or San Ramon, CA, is designed for a technical expert with 8 to 10 years of professional experience who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. As a key member of our development group, you will be responsible for architecting and implementing sophisticated user interface components using the latest React.js frameworks and modern JavaScript standards.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Execution
- Develop and implement highly responsive user interface components using React.js and TypeScript (ES6+).
- Translate complex wireframes, storyboards, and user flows into high-quality, interactive code that enhances the overall user experience.
- Implement modern UI/UX designs, ensuring that all elements are engaging, intuitive, and accessible.
- Build reusable components and front-end libraries to streamline future development and maintain consistency across platforms.
- Optimize web applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance, particularly for high-traffic environments.
- Ensure seamless cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness across a wide range of devices and platforms.
- Validate user input thoroughly before submitting data to backend services to ensure data integrity and security.
- Collaborate closely with backend developers and UI/UX designers to improve usability and functionality throughout the product lifecycle.
- Participate in rigorous code reviews to maintain high standards of code quality, consistency, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues to ensure a smooth and uninterrupted user experience.
- Stay current with the latest development trends, emerging technologies, and design patterns to keep our applications at the cutting edge.
Required Technical Expertise
- 8-10 years of professional experience in front-end development with a focus on React.js and JavaScript.
- Mandatory proficiency in Cloud DevOps practices, React.js, and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
- In-depth experience with TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and responsive UI/UX design principles.
- Hands-on expertise with Material-UI, Styled Components, Webpack, Rollup, and Storybook.
- Advanced knowledge of React-Router-Dom, specifically handling complex parent-to-child routing and DOM manipulation.
- Expertise in state management solutions such as Zustand, Redux, or the Context API, along with custom hooks development.
- Strong understanding of component-based architecture, reusability, and performance optimization techniques.
- Proficiency in testing frameworks including Jest and React Testing Library.
- Proven track record of integrating and consuming RESTful APIs in a production environment.
