Role Overview: Senior Frontend Engineer (React)
Tanisha Systems INC is currently seeking a highly experienced Senior Frontend Engineer to join our client’s prestigious ‘Invest’ team. This is a high-impact role where you will have the unique opportunity to set the technical direction for a growing business function. The overall architecture is currently in a greenfield state, providing a rare chance for a senior professional to shape the platform’s evolution and capabilities for years to come. This position is hybrid, with primary locations in Austin, TX, Princeton, NJ, South Field, MI, and Santa Clara, CA.
Key Responsibilities and Technical Leadership
- Design, develop, and deploy user-facing products that are both resilient and scalable, ensuring a top-tier user experience.
- Utilize a modern stack including React, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, and TypeScript to transform complex designs into maintainable and performant user interfaces.
- Lead the development of testable and accessible web applications, adhering to the highest industry standards for inclusive design.
- Collaborate closely with engineering and product stakeholders to build sophisticated financial products and internal tools.
- Work alongside a team of like-minded engineers dedicated to building industry-leading software solutions.
- Partner with designers to identify and resolve potential implementation issues early in the development lifecycle.
- Translate user stories and business requirements into robust technical solutions.
- Generate innovative ideas for new initiatives, technologies, and process improvements.
- Maintain clear communication with project leads, product managers, and other software developers across the organization.
Technical Requirements and Qualifications
- A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field is required.
- Minimum of 10+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with at least 5+ years focused on modern web stacks.
- Extensive experience (2+ years) specifically working with TypeScript and React in a production environment.
- Deep understanding of the core stack: Java, Kotlin, Spring, PostgreSQL, and React, operating within a Kubernetes-based service-oriented architecture.
- Strong knowledge of semantic HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript libraries and tooling.
- Familiarity with responsive design, mobile-web best practices, and cross-browser compatibility.
- Proven ability to drive a project from inception to completion with a solid sense of responsibility.
- Experience in collaborative coding environments, including code reviews and managing pull requests.
- Bonus skills include experience with Redux, Material-UI, Razzle, and large-scale application architecture.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $150,000 – $200,000 per year (Estimated)
