This is an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Full Stack Developer with a strong focus on Artificial Intelligence to join a forward-thinking team in Phoenix, AZ. The ideal candidate will be instrumental in developing cutting-edge AI-powered applications, leveraging large language models (LLMs) and Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) pipelines. This hybrid role requires a local candidate who can participate in in-person interviews and contribute to a collaborative, innovative environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement robust full-stack applications with a strong emphasis on AI integration.
- Implement Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) systems, developing solutions that effectively retrieve and utilize enterprise data to enhance the accuracy and relevance of LLM responses.
- Apply advanced Prompt Engineering techniques to design, evaluate, and continuously optimize prompts, thereby significantly improving the performance and output quality of AI models.
- Develop secure and scalable REST APIs to seamlessly integrate OpenAI models and other AI services into various application components.
- Ensure all AI solutions adhere strictly to responsible AI principles, robust data privacy regulations, and stringent security standards, maintaining compliance throughout the development lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, and other engineers to define requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software.
- Participate in code reviews, contribute to architectural discussions, and maintain comprehensive documentation for developed systems.
- Troubleshoot and debug complex issues across the full stack, from front-end user interfaces to back-end services and AI model integrations.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI, machine learning, and full-stack development technologies, continuously seeking opportunities for innovation.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement, advocating for best practices in software development, testing, and deployment.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Demonstrated proficiency in Python, JavaScript, and Angular – all three must be clearly articulated on the resume.
- Solid understanding and practical experience with Large Language Models (LLMs).
- Proven experience in implementing and working with RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) pipelines.
- Hands-on experience with OpenAI models and their API integrations.
- Strong background in developing secure REST APIs.
- Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, requiring local presence in Phoenix, AZ.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SQL DB or PostgreSQL for database management and querying.
- Familiarity with CI/CD (Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment) pipelines and practices.
- Proficiency with Docker for containerization and deployment.
- Experience with React framework is a plus.
- Knowledge of Azure cloud services and infrastructure.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
