Job Overview

We are seeking a skilled Full Stack Engineer for a hybrid role in Westlake, TX. This is a 12+ months contract position with a client in the financial domain. The role requires strong technical expertise and the ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment. Relocation assistance is available for candidates with a strong justification.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and implement full-stack web applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
  • Develop and maintain RESTful APIs.
  • Integrate with front-end components and back-end services.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing software.
  • Ensure the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
  • Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability.
  • Work with databases and ensure data integrity.
  • Participate in code reviews and contribute to team best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends.

Requirements

  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Engineer or similar role.
  • Proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, Vue.js).
  • Proficiency in back-end technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby, or similar.
  • Experience with database technologies like SQL (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly Git.
  • Understanding of RESTful API design and development.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Strong communication and collaboration abilities.
  • Ability to work effectively in a hybrid work environment.
  • Must be a US Citizen or Green Card holder.

Compensation & Location
