Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer with a specialization in Agentic AI and Generative AI to join our team in Boston, MA. This role involves taking ownership of an enterprise-scale Data & AI platform, focusing on architecting and implementing mid-tier business services, workflows, API integrations, and user-facing portals. You will build secure, scalable services and AI-based solutions using Python, React, and AWS, enabling emerging AI technologies like RAG, LangChain, and agentic frameworks. The ideal candidate possesses a blend of hands-on coding expertise, architectural vision, and thought leadership.

Key Responsibilities

  • Platform & Service Ownership: Design and deliver the platform’s application and integration layer, including microservices, APIs, orchestration, and workflows. Build services powering AI solutions (RAG/chat, workflow automation, document intelligence, decision support). Define service boundaries, contracts, SLAs, and golden paths for service creation.
  • Full-Stack Development (React + Python): Develop modern portals and internal tools using React. Build backend services in Python (FastAPI/Flask) with REST/GraphQL endpoints. Ensure strong UX, validation, and seamless integration between front-end and back-end.
  • AWS Cloud Engineering: Deploy workloads on AWS (EC2, ECS, EKS, Docker). Implement secure, resilient cloud-native patterns (VPC, encryption, secrets management). Design scalable workloads with queues, events, caching, and background workers.
  • Integrations & APIs: Build integrations with internal/external systems via APIs (REST/SOAP). Implement retries, idempotency, rate limiting, and circuit-breaker patterns. Create a consistent integration framework for rapid onboarding.
  • Authentication & Security: Implement secure AuthN/AuthZ (SSO, OAuth2/OIDC, SAML). Build RBAC/ABAC, token management, audit logging, and policy enforcement. Partner with InfoSec and Compliance teams for bank-grade security.
  • Data Warehouse & Analytics Enablement: Build services/UI patterns on top of Snowflake/Redshift/Databricks. Enable secure query services, metadata access, and governed data consumption. Support telemetry, adoption metrics, workflow outcomes, and dashboards.
  • CI/CD & Operations: Own CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, CodePipeline). Implement automated testing, monitoring, tracing, and incident response. Ensure performance and cost optimization across services.

Required Skills and Experience

  • 12+ years of software engineering experience with production system ownership.
  • Hands-on expertise with Generative AI, Agentic AI, RAG, LangChain, LangGraph.
  • Strong backend engineering in Python (FastAPI/Flask, async patterns, testing).
  • Strong front-end engineering in React (modern component design, state management).
  • AWS experience with EC2, ECS, EKS, Amplify, API Gateway, Fargate, WAF, Load Balancer.
  • Experience building portals with backend integrations to multiple services.
  • Strong knowledge of AuthN/AuthZ, RBAC, secrets management, secure coding.
  • CI/CD implementation using AWS stack (CodePipeline, CodeCommit, CodeCatalyst).
  • Familiarity with data warehouse concepts (governed access, query optimization).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications
