Role Overview: Full Stack AI Engineering in 2026

As we move into the mid-2020s, the integration of Artificial Intelligence into standard full-stack architectures has transitioned from a luxury to a core requirement. Delta System & Software is at the forefront of this evolution, seeking a Senior Full Stack Engineer with a profound understanding of AI ecosystems to join our client’s team in Dallas, Texas. This 12-month contract role is designed for a developer who thrives in an onsite, collaborative environment and is eager to build the next generation of intelligent applications.

Core Technical Responsibilities

  • Backend Excellence: Architect and maintain high-performance microservices using Python and Go (Golang). You will be responsible for building the backbone of AI-driven platforms, ensuring low-latency responses and high availability.
  • AI Integration: Implement and fine-tune Generative AI and Large Language Model (LLM) capabilities. This includes working with agentic frameworks that allow AI to perform complex, multi-step tasks autonomously.
  • Frontend Innovation: Create seamless, intuitive user interfaces using modern frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue. The goal is to make complex AI outputs accessible and actionable for end-users.
  • Cloud-Native Infrastructure: Deploy and manage applications across major cloud providers including AWS, Azure, and GCP. You will utilize containerization and orchestration tools to ensure scalable deployments.
  • API Development: Design and implement robust REST and gRPC APIs to facilitate communication between disparate system components and AI models.

The Onsite Experience in Dallas

This position requires a consistent onsite presence at our client’s Dallas facility. In an era of remote work, we believe that the most complex AI challenges are best solved through face-to-face collaboration, rapid whiteboarding sessions, and immediate feedback loops. You will be part of a high-energy team dedicated to pushing the boundaries of what is possible in the enterprise AI space.

Advanced AI Toolchains and Frameworks

  • Hands-on experience with LangChain, AutoGPT, or similar agentic frameworks.
  • Deep understanding of vector databases (e.g., Pinecone, Milvus) for RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) implementations.
  • Proficiency in prompt engineering and model evaluation techniques.
  • Experience with AI-specific CI/CD pipelines and monitoring tools for model drift and performance.

Professional Requirements and Growth

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with at least 7-10 years of professional software engineering experience. Beyond technical skills, we are looking for a problem-solver who can navigate the ethical considerations of AI deployment and contribute to a culture of continuous learning. This 12-month engagement offers significant opportunities for professional growth as you work on high-visibility projects that define the future of our client’s digital strategy.
