Position Summary
People Integra LLC is looking for a Senior Full Stack Java/React Developer with a minimum of 10 years of professional software engineering experience. This is a hybrid role based in San Leandro, CA, specifically tailored for the banking domain. The successful candidate will contribute to the development of high-performance, secure financial applications, leveraging modern Java frameworks and React front-end technologies. This position requires a deep understanding of the full software development lifecycle, from initial design to deployment in cloud-native environments.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain scalable web applications using Java 11+ and React, ensuring high performance and responsiveness.
- Architect and implement microservices using Spring Boot, following industry-standard design patterns like MVC and Structural patterns.
- Collaborate with product owners and stakeholders in an Agile environment (Scrum/Kanban) to deliver high-quality software features.
- Implement Test-Driven Development (TDD) and Behavior-Driven Development (BDD) practices using Cucumber, Postman, and Playwright.
- Manage and optimize database interactions with Oracle DB, ensuring data integrity and efficient query performance.
- Deploy and manage containerized applications using Docker, Kubernetes, and OpenShift within PCF or Azure cloud platforms.
- Integrate middleware solutions such as MQ and Apigee to facilitate seamless communication between disparate systems.
- Analyze complex technical issues and provide creative, efficient solutions to maintain system stability and security.
Required Qualifications and Skills
Candidates must have at least 10 years of software engineering experience, with a minimum of 8 years dedicated to Java development and 5 years focused on React. A strong foundation in Java fundamentals, data structures, and object-oriented programming is mandatory. Experience in the banking or financial services domain is highly preferred due to the specific security and regulatory requirements of the projects. You should be proficient in modern DevOps practices and have hands-on experience with CI/CD pipelines. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will be required to participate in an in-person interview and work closely with a local team in a hybrid capacity. The role demands a proactive problem-solver who can navigate the complexities of large-scale enterprise architectures while maintaining a focus on user experience and code quality.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $165,000 – $215,000 per year (Estimated)
