Job Description:
We are seeking a skilled and motivated Java Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in backend development using Java and Spring Boot, with a solid understanding of microservices architecture. You will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable backend services and collaborating closely with frontend teams to ensure seamless integration with AngularJS-based applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain robust, scalable, and high-performance backend applications using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and manage microservices-based architectures
- Develop RESTful APIs and ensure efficient communication between services
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate backend services with AngularJS applications
- Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code following best practices
- Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle (SDLC)
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot
- Experience with microservices architecture
- Knowledge of RESTful API design and development
- Familiarity with frontend integration, especially with AngularJS
- Understanding of databases (SQL/NoSQL)
- Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)
- Good problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Additional Information:
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days a week in the New York City office. The contract duration is for 1 year. Candidates must be local to NY/NJ. The interview process typically involves 2 to 3 rounds, including video and face-to-face interviews.
Special Requirements
Visa Status: H1B with PP number. Locals only in NY/NJ. Interviews: 2-3 rounds (2 Video, 1 Face to Face).
Compensation & Location
Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
