Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled Functional Analyst with expertise in Coupa to join our team for a contract position in Washington, DC. This role involves configuring, implementing, testing, and documenting solutions within the Coupa application and its analytics. The ideal candidate will have experience with integrations between Coupa and finance applications and a strong understanding of business processes related to procurement and finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure, implement, test, and document solutions in the Coupa application and analytics.
  • Perform regression testing of the application and integrations for Coupa releases.
  • Partner with stakeholders to define needs, analyze business processes, and design, test, and implement system solutions.
  • Configure settings and approval hierarchies in Coupa to meet organizational requirements.
  • Research and develop solutions for integration issues between Coupa and the finance system.
  • Manage Coupa updates, analyze feature releases, and implement new functionalities.
  • Document project deliverables, including requirements specifications, design documents, and test results.
  • Collaborate with business users to understand their needs and translate them into functional specifications.
  • Provide support and troubleshooting for Coupa-related issues.

Required Skills and Experience

  • Proven experience as a Functional Analyst, with a strong focus on Coupa.
  • Ability to configure, implement, test, and document solutions in Coupa application and analytics.
  • Experience with integrations between Coupa and finance applications.
  • Excellent work ethic, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with regression testing of applications and integrations.
  • Experience in analyzing business processes and designing system solutions.
  • Knowledge of Coupa settings and approval hierarchies.
  • Ability to research and resolve integration issues.
  • Experience in managing application updates and implementing new features.
  • Strong documentation skills.

Location and Work Arrangement

  • Location: Washington, DC.
  • The role is primarily onsite, with potential for full-time telework for non-local staff.
  • Local staff are required to report to the office daily and may telework once a week.

Interview Process

  • Selected candidates will undergo a phone screening.
  • Candidates who pass the phone screening may be invited for an in-person interview (for local candidates).
  • Video conference tools (e.g., MS Teams or WebEx) may be used for interviews in accordance with agency guidelines.
  • Preference is given to local candidates.

Contract Details

  • Duration: 6+ Months

Special Requirements

In-person interview for local and video for non-locals (preference to local candidates), Local staff report to office in Washington, DC. Full time telework is an option for non-local staff. Local staff must report to the office daily and can telework once a week.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $80,000 – $120,000 per year (Estimated)

Location: Washington, DC
