Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled GCP Cloud Engineer to design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP). This role involves managing various GCP services, implementing CI/CD pipelines, and automating infrastructure provisioning.

Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, and deploy scalable and secure applications on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage, Cloud SQL, BigQuery, and Kubernetes Engine (GKE).
  • Implement CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, GitHub Actions, or Cloud Build.
  • Automate infrastructure provisioning using Terraform / Deployment Manager.
  • Monitor applications and infrastructure using Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging, and Cloud Operations Suite.
  • Implement IAM roles, security policies, VPC, firewall rules, and network configurations.
  • Optimize cloud infrastructure for cost, performance, and scalability.
  • Work with DevOps teams to implement containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
  • Perform cloud migration from on-premises to GCP.
  • Ensure high availability, disaster recovery, and backup strategies.
  • Troubleshoot production issues and provide technical support.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in designing, developing, and deploying applications on GCP.
  • Strong understanding of GCP services and architecture.
  • Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
  • Proficiency in infrastructure as code tools like Terraform.
  • Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools in GCP.
  • Knowledge of cloud security best practices and IAM.
  • Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Experience with cloud migration projects.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $61 – $81 per year (Estimated)
