Job Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Gen AI Lead Architect to join our team. This role is crucial for defining the vision and strategy for our AI programs, establishing enterprise-wide AI standards and guidelines, and overseeing the implementation of cutting-edge AI solutions. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large language models, vector databases, cloud deployments, and Responsible AI techniques.
Key Responsibilities
- Create overarching solution architecture for AI initiatives.
- Define the vision for AI programs with extensive experience in the field.
- Establish AI standards and guidelines for the enterprise.
- Specialize in large language models and frameworks, vector databases, and cloud deployments.
- Implement Responsible AI techniques, including strategy and execution.
- Ensure technical feasibility and successful implementation of AI solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate AI capabilities into existing systems and products.
- Stay abreast of the latest advancements in AI and Gen AI to drive innovation.
Required Skills and Experience
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- 8+ years of experience in AI, with a specialization in large language models and frameworks.
- Proven experience with vector databases and cloud deployments (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Technically strong in Python programming.
- Demonstrated ability to code Agents, create architectures, and innovate.
- Must have experience programming Agents in the Lang chain Framework library.
- Must have experience programming MCPs or adding custom tools to Agents.
- Enthusiasm for innovation and discovering new ideas.
- Strong understanding of Responsible AI principles and practices.
Additional Information
- This is a contract position with an hourly rate range of $62-$65 on a C2C basis.
- The role requires local candidates in McLean, VA.
- 8-10 years of experience in the required skills is preferred.
