Role Overview
Arkhya Tech Inc. is looking for a visionary Gen AIML Engineer to join our team onsite in Charlotte, NC. This contract role is focused on the cutting edge of Artificial Intelligence, specifically the development and deployment of Generative AI platforms and Agentic workflows. We are seeking a professional with at least 5 years of experience in software development and a strong background in machine learning frameworks and production-level AI applications.
Key Responsibilities
- AI Platform Development: Designing, developing, and deploying large-scale AI-powered platforms. You will focus on building and optimizing AI agents and agentic workflows that can handle complex, multi-step tasks autonomously.
- Machine Learning Systems: Optimize ML systems specifically for AI agents, ensuring they are responsive, accurate, and scalable. You will translate user needs into technical solutions and develop AI algorithms that push the boundaries of current technology.
- Framework Expertise: Utilize state-of-the-art Generative AI and agentic AI frameworks such as Google ADK, LangChain, and LangGraph. You will be responsible for evaluating technical trade-offs and selecting the best tools for specific production requirements.
- Data Pipeline Architecture: Architect robust data pipelines that support the training and inference needs of large language models (LLMs). This includes working with Vector Databases and implementing Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG) patterns.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with cross-functional teams and manage stakeholders to ensure that AI solutions align with business goals. You may also provide technical leadership and mentorship to other developers on the team.
Technical Requirements
The ideal candidate will have excellent hands-on experience in Python, LLM integration, RAG architectures, and Vector Databases. Proficiency in frameworks like TensorFlow or PyTorch is required, along with a deep understanding of APIs and cloud-based AI services. We are specifically looking for candidates who have successfully delivered 3-4 end-to-end production projects in the AI/ML space. Experience with Agentic AI and Google ADK is highly desirable.

This role requires a Bachelor’s degree in a technical field and a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience. You must possess strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in an onsite environment in Charlotte. The position demands a high level of technical proficiency and the ability to stay updated on the rapidly evolving landscape of Generative AI.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $195,000 per year (Estimated)
