Job Description:
The GenAI Architect I is responsible for leading the transformation of BPO driven and shared service operations into Generative AI powered automation solutions. This role owns the end-to-end architecture, migration strategy, implementation, and stabilization of AI-driven automation initiatives. The position requires deep hands-on expertise in Generative AI, proven production experience with ServiceNow AI Agent, and direct experience migrating BPO or shared-service operations using AI technologies.
Acting as a technical lead, this role makes key design decisions, ensures business continuity during migration, and delivers scalable, enterprise grade AI automation solutions. This position reports to the General Manager based in New York City.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities:
GenAI Automation & Migration Leadership
- Lead the migration of BPO and shared service operations from manual or rule based processes to GenAI driven automation
- Analyze current state processes and design future-state AI enabled workflows
- Define migration strategy, phases, risks, fallback mechanisms, and success criteria
- Ensure stable rollout with minimal operational disruption
GenAI Architecture & Solution Design
- Design and implement Generative AI based automation architectures
- Define conversational AI flows, orchestration logic, and human in the loop controls
- Establish AI governance standards covering accuracy, explainability, and risk management
- Evaluate and select appropriate GenAI approaches and technologies
Enterprise Automation Platform Implementation
- Architect and implement AI automation using ServiceNow AI Agent as a core enterprise platform
- Define reusable design patterns and best practices for AI driven automation
Integration & Data Enablement
- Design and oversee integrations with enterprise systems (e.g., SAP, Snowflake, internal platforms)
- Ensure secure, reliable data pipelines that support AI-driven decision making
- Define logging, monitoring, and observability standards for AI automation
Technical Leadership
- Serve as the technical authority for GenAI automation initiatives
- Lead design reviews and approve key technical decisions
- Mentor supporting engineers and collaborate with global teams and vendors
- Translate business requirements into scalable AI driven technical solutions
Required Knowledge and Experience (MUST):
- 8+ years of experience in enterprise application development, automation, or AI driven systems
- Hands-on production experience with ServiceNow AI Agent, including design, implementation, and deployment
- Proven experience transforming BPO or shared-service operations using AI, including migration from legacy or manual processes
- Strong hands-on experience with Generative AI solution design and implementation
- Experience leading enterprise automation or migration projects
- Ability to independently define architecture, make technical decisions, and lead delivery
Technical Competencies:
- Generative AI concepts: LLMs, prompt design, orchestration, evaluation, and risk control
- ServiceNow customization and scripting (JavaScript)
- API based system integration and data flow design
- Conversational AI, workflow orchestration, and human-in-the-loop design
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
- Experience with Microsoft Copilot and Copilot Studio
- Experience with Azure AI Foundry or Azure based GenAI platforms
- Experience designing multi-platform GenAI architectures combining workflow engines and cloud GenAI services
- Knowledge of enterprise data platforms (e.g., Snowflake, SAP)
- Experience working with global or offshore teams
- Prior experience as a Technical Lead, Architect, or Principal Engineer
Education:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent practical experience
- AI, cloud, and/or automation-related certifications are a plus
Compensation (After 90days- converted to the employee):
- Starting salary range of $140 to $170k, based on experience
- Up to 5% bonus annually, with potential for growth (pro-rated through end of first fiscal year March, 31, 2027)
