Job Description: Golang Developer
We are looking for a skilled Golang Developer with extensive experience in microservices development and cloud environments. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing Go services, working with databases, and developing APIs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and implement microservices using Go (Golang).
- Leverage advanced Go features for backend development.
- Work hands-on with cloud environments, specifically deploying Go microservices in AWS.
- Develop and maintain robust APIs, including GraphQL APIs.
- Experience with MySQL database management and integration.
- Implement unit and integration testing to ensure code quality and reliability.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
- Troubleshoot and debug applications, identifying and resolving issues.
- Potentially work with Nx monorepo for project management.
- Contribute to the overall architecture and design of the system.
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of professional experience, predominantly designing and implementing GO services.
- Advanced knowledge of Go features and best practices.
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments, particularly AWS.
- Proficiency in microservices development.
- Experience with MySQL.
- Experience developing microservice APIs.
- Experience with TypeScript.
- Familiarity with AWS services.
- Experience with unit and integration testing.
- Experience developing a GraphQL API.
- Preferred: Some experience with Nx monorepo.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Employment Details:
- Location: San Francisco, CA
- Duration: 6 months contract
- Work Model: Hybrid – 2 days a week onsite. Local candidates preferred.
This is a contract role with a strong possibility of extension. We are looking for candidates who can start immediately.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $160,000 per year
