Job Description: Golang Developer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Golang Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in developing scalable, high-performance applications using Golang. This is an onsite position located in Phoenix, AZ, with a contract duration of approximately 6 months.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain scalable, high-performance Go applications for microservices and monolithic architectures.
  • Design, develop, and integrate robust REST APIs and gRPC services.
  • Implement efficient data storage solutions using PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
  • Write clean, maintainable, and well-documented code.
  • Perform thorough testing, debugging, and code optimization to ensure application stability and performance.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers.
  • Participate actively in code reviews, adhering to best practices and promoting knowledge sharing within the team.
  • Work within an Agile development environment, contributing to sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues in production and development environments.

Key Skills and Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in software development.
  • Strong expertise in Golang (Go) programming language.
  • Proven experience in developing microservices and monolithic architectures.
  • Hands-on experience with designing and implementing REST APIs and gRPC.
  • Proficiency in concurrent programming concepts, including goroutines, channels, and the sync package.
  • Solid experience with both SQL (PostgreSQL) and NoSQL (MongoDB) databases.
  • Familiarity with Git for version control and collaborative development workflows.
  • Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking skills.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in Agile teams.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with team members and stakeholders.

Additional Information:

  • This is an onsite position in Phoenix, AZ.
  • The contract duration is approximately 6 months.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work on a C2C basis.
  • No Green Card (GC) or Green Card EAD sponsorship is available for this position.

Compensation & Location

Salary: $50 – $60 per year (Estimated)
