Position Summary
VBeyond Corporation is looking for a specialized Guidewire Billing Center Developer with a strong focus on Cloud Integration. This is a remote contract position open to candidates in the USA and Canada. The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of Guidewire Cloud integrations, ensuring seamless data exchange between Guidewire applications and various external systems using modern cloud-native patterns.
Core Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain Guidewire Cloud integrations using Integration Gateway and App Events.
- Implement secure and scalable data exchange protocols using REST, SOAP, and event-driven architectures.
- Ensure all integrations adhere to cloud best practices, including stateless design, resiliency, and observability.
- Build and optimize integrations through enterprise middleware platforms such as MuleSoft, Boomi, or Azure Integration Services.
- Develop API contracts and transformation logic to support critical insurance workflows in policy, billing, and claims.
- Integrate Guidewire with Document Management Systems like Alfresco, OnBase, or SharePoint.
- Manage AWS S3 bucket integrations for secure document storage, archival, and retrieval.
- Configure and publish Guidewire App Events to trigger real-time downstream processes.
- Support CI/CD pipelines and participate in performance and failover testing.
Technical Expertise Required
- Deep knowledge of Guidewire Billing Center and Guidewire Cloud standards.
- Experience with Integration Gateway development and authentication patterns (OAuth, mTLS, JWT).
- Proficiency in middleware technologies and API management.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud services, specifically S3 and IAM roles.
- Strong understanding of event-driven architecture and messaging queues.
- Ability to troubleshoot complex integration failures across middleware and cloud logs.
- Experience with document production and lifecycle automation within Guidewire.
Collaboration and Leadership
In this role, you will work closely with offshore developers, business analysts, and architects to deliver high-quality integration solutions. You will provide technical guidance and code reviews for junior developers, ensuring that all deliverables meet enterprise standards. This position requires excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a distributed, global team environment. Compensation & Location
Salary: $160,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
