Job Description
The Guidewire Tech Lead will oversee the design, development, and implementation of Guidewire InsuranceSuite modules (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter). This role combines hands-on development with team leadership, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality solutions aligned with business requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of developers in Guidewire implementation projects.
- Design and develop Guidewire solutions (PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, ClaimCenter).
- Provide technical guidance on integrations, workflows, and data models.
- Ensure code quality through reviews, standards, and best practices.
- Collaborate with business analysts and architects to translate requirements into technical solutions.
- Troubleshoot complex issues and optimize performance.
- Mentor and upskill team members on Guidewire technologies.
Required Skills
- Strong expertise in Guidewire (ClaimCenter, PolicyCenter, BillingCenter).
- Hands-on experience with Guidewire Studio, Gosu, and Workflow/Rule Configuration.
- Integration experience (SOAP, REST, web services).
- Knowledge of Java, SQL, and relational databases.
- Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Preferred Skills
- Experience in Agile/Scrum methodology.
- Guidewire certification(s) is a plus.
- Exposure to Guidewire Cloud deployments.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $110,000 – $150,000 per year (Estimated)
