Job Summary:
I Tech US Inc. is seeking an experienced IAM ForgeRock Developer for an onsite opportunity in New York City, New York. This role involves designing, configuring, and customizing Identity and Access Management (IAM) solutions using the ForgeRock Identity Platform. The developer will play a key role in securing applications by implementing robust IAM strategies, developing custom modules, and integrating with existing enterprise systems. This is a contract position with a duration of 12+ months, offering a chance to work on critical security infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Solution Implementation: Design, install, and configure ForgeRock components including OpenAM, OpenIDM, OpenDJ, and OpenIG.
- Customization / Development: Develop custom authentication modules, scripts, and plugins using Java and Groovy.
- Integration: Integrate ForgeRock solutions with web services, APIs, and enterprise applications to ensure secure and seamless authorization.
- Maintenance / Support: Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical support during production outages.
- Security / Compliance: Implement security policies, manage directory services (LDAP), and ensure compliance with industry standards such as SAML, OAuth, and OIDC.
- Documentation: Create comprehensive technical documentation, including architecture diagrams, workflows, and configuration guides.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver effective IAM solutions.
- Ensure adherence to security best practices and compliance requirements.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Experience: 3 to 5 years of hands-on experience with ForgeRock products and Identity Access Management principles.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in Java, JavaScript, and scripting languages such as Groovy and Python.
- Protocols: Deep understanding of IAM protocols including OAuth, OIDC, SAML 2.0, and LDAP.
- Platforms: Knowledge of directory services (e.g., OpenDJ) and authentication/authorization servers (e.g., OpenAM, OpenIG).
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Equivalent experience will also be considered.
- Methodologies: Experience working in Agile, DevOps, or CI/CD environments.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with DevOps tools like Docker and Kubernetes for deploying ForgeRock containers.
- Strong understanding of OAuth 2.0 and OpenID Connect (OIDC) flows.
- Experience in troubleshooting complex IAM issues.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $75 – $100 per year (Estimated)
