Job Description:

We are looking for an experienced IBM Planning Analytics (TM1) Consultant for a fully remote position. This role requires a strong understanding of financial planning and analysis processes, particularly within the banking and financial services industry. The consultant will be responsible for leveraging IBM Planning Analytics to enhance forecasting, automation, and reporting capabilities.

  • Core Skills: 10+ years of hands-on experience with IBM Planning Analytics (TM1), including Rules/Feeders, Financial Planning, and Analysis.
  • Domain Expertise: Strong understanding of banking/financial-services finance processes, including Budgeting & forecasting (Revenue/NII, NIM, OPEX, HC), Funds Transfer Pricing (FTP) & profitability allocation, Balance sheet & liquidity planning, ALM concepts, CECL/Provision drivers, RWA/capital planning basics (Basel/ICAAP), and stress testing concepts (e.g., CCAR).
  • Technical Skills: Solid SQL skills and experience with relational schemas and performance tuning. Experience integrating with ERP/GL (e.g., SAP, Oracle, PeopleSoft), data warehouses/lakes.
  • Soft Skills: Strong problem-solving, documentation, and stakeholder communication abilities.
  • CI/CD & Operations: Experience with improving version control and CI/CD, optimizing operational risk and governance challenges, and handling modern data platforms and sustainable real-time capabilities.
  • Analytics: Experience with predictive analytics in IBM TM1 to advance forecasting and automation for Financial Planning and Analysis.

Employment Type: This is a remote position, and candidates must hold H1B or H4EAD visas.
