Role Overview

Brillius Technologies is seeking a highly skilled and visionary IBM Sterling OMS Solution Architect for a critical onsite engagement in Atlanta, GA. This role is designed for a technical leader with a deep pedigree in order management systems and a proven track record of delivering complex, large-scale retail solutions. Core Responsibilities in Solution Architecture

  • Define and govern the end-to-end OMS architecture leveraging the full IBM Sterling suite, including Distributed Order Management (DOM), Supply Inventory Planning (SIP), and Logistics Management.
  • Lead comprehensive assessments for multi-module projects to ensure alignment with the enterprise’s future-state architecture.
  • Architect robust integration strategies connecting IBM OMS with critical business systems such as ERP, WMS, CRM, e-commerce platforms, and third-party payment/logistics providers.
  • Produce and review high-level (HLD) and low-level design (LLD) documentation, ensuring technical integrity across the project lifecycle.
  • Oversee system scalability, security protocols, and performance tuning to meet high-volume retail demands.
  • Establish and manage CI/CD pipelines and DevOps processes specifically tailored for OMS environments.

Technical Leadership and Team Management

  • Mentor and manage diverse OMS development teams, promoting technical excellence and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Provide hands-on technical guidance to business analysts, developers, and QA teams to resolve complex architectural bottlenecks.
  • Champion the adoption of Agile methodologies and operational excellence within the delivery framework.
  • Facilitate technical workshops and knowledge-sharing sessions to upskill the internal team on Nextgen OMoC 2.0 and containerized versions of IBM OMS.

Stakeholder Engagement and Governance

  • Collaborate closely with product owners and senior IT leadership to align technical roadmaps with overarching business goals.
  • Perform fit-gap analyses and present viable solution options to executive stakeholders.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for cross-functional teams throughout the implementation, UAT, and production release phases.
  • Coordinate directly with IBM for product bug resolution and roadmap alignment to ensure timely project completion.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
  • Minimum of 15 years of IT experience, with at least 10 years dedicated to IBM OMS architecture and implementation.
  • Extensive experience in customizing DOM, Pricing, Inventory, Call Center, and Store modules.
  • Deep expertise in Java, Angular, XML, XSLT, and REST/SOAP microservices.
  • Proven ability to work within an Onsite-Offshore model, requiring flexibility to coordinate with Indian delivery teams.

Onsite/Offshore model requires flexibility with timings for Indian delivery team coordination.


Compensation & Location

Salary: $165,000 – $225,000 per year

Location: Atlanta, GA
