Role Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Informatica Administrator to join our enterprise data team in Newark, NJ. This is a pivotal role focused on the administration, maintenance, and modernization of our hybrid and cloud-based data platforms. The ideal candidate will possess a deep technical background in Informatica IDMC (Cloud Data Integration), PowerCenter, and Test Data Management (TDM). As we transition our legacy on-premise environments to modern cloud architectures, your expertise in cloud modernization and automation will be essential to our success. This position requires a proactive professional who can manage complex data domains while ensuring high availability, security, and performance across the board.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain the full Informatica suite, including IDMC, PowerCenter, TDM, B2B Data Exchange, and IDQ.
- Manage Informatica domains, nodes, grids, and secure agents to ensure optimal system performance.
- Lead modernization initiatives, specifically migrating on-premise PowerCenter workflows to IDMC CDI.
- Configure and manage Test Data Management (TDM) workflows, including data masking, subsetting, and PII protection.
- Implement and integrate Tonic AI for synthetic data generation and data privacy compliance.
- Automate platform operations and deployment cycles using Linux shell scripting and Ansible playbooks.
- Administer user access and security through RBAC and LDAP/Active Directory integration.
- Perform system upgrades, patching, and disaster recovery setup to maintain platform integrity.
- Monitor system health and troubleshoot production issues to meet strict SLA requirements.
- Collaborate with data engineers and architects to develop cloud-native optimization strategies.
Technical Requirements
The successful candidate will have 8 to 10 years of hands-on experience in Informatica administration. Proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter and IDMC (CDI/CDI-PC) is mandatory. You must demonstrate expertise in Test Data Management and Data Masking techniques. Experience with Tonic AI integration is highly preferred. A strong foundation in Linux administration and automation tools like Ansible is required to streamline operations. Furthermore, you should have a solid understanding of B2B Data Exchange platforms and secure transmission protocols such as SFTP, AS2, and HTTPS. Knowledge of data security, compliance, and governance frameworks is vital for managing sensitive enterprise data.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $145,000 – $185,000 per year (Estimated)
