Job Summary: Senior Informatica Administrator
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced Informatica Administrator to manage, support, and optimize our enterprise Informatica platform. In this remote role, you will be the primary point of contact for the installation, configuration, and performance tuning of our ETL environments. You will ensure that our data integration processes are secure, scalable, and highly available, supporting various business units in their data-driven initiatives. The ideal candidate brings a wealth of experience in system administration, troubleshooting, and environment management.
Core Responsibilities
- Install, configure, and maintain Informatica PowerCenter components, including Repository and Integration Services.
- Administer Informatica Data Quality (IDQ) and other related modules to ensure data integrity across the organization.
- Manage multiple environments (DEV, QA, UAT, PROD) and execute seamless migrations using deployment groups.
- Monitor system performance and perform tuning of ETL workflows, sessions, and server configurations to eliminate bottlenecks.
- Implement and manage security protocols, including user roles, privileges, and LDAP/Active Directory integration.
- Develop and test disaster recovery procedures, repository backups, and high-availability (Grid) configurations.
- Execute version upgrades and apply patches, coordinating downtime with stakeholders to ensure minimal business disruption.
- Provide L2/L3 production support, performing root cause analysis (RCA) for complex incidents.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 to 10 years of hands-on experience as an Informatica Administrator.
- Strong expertise in Informatica PowerCenter administration on Unix/Linux and Windows platforms.
- Proficiency in shell scripting (Unix/Linux) for automation of administrative tasks.
- Solid understanding of relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server.
- Experience with enterprise job schedulers, with a preference for Control-M.
- Knowledge of Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services (IICS) and cloud platforms like AWS, Azure, or GCP is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Splunk or AppDynamics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $120,000 – $170,000 per year (Estimated)
