Position Summary
TEK Inspirations is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Information Security Lead to join our client’s team in Malvern, PA. This hybrid role is designed for a security professional who excels in governance, risk management, and vendor oversight. As the Information Security Lead, you will serve as the primary liaison between the organization and the Security Operations Center (SOC), ensuring that all security policies are strictly enforced and that operational gaps are identified and remediated promptly. You will play a critical role in protecting the organization’s digital assets by evaluating the security posture of third-party vendors and leading the implementation of robust security frameworks across the enterprise.
Core Responsibilities
- Act as the primary point of contact for SOC operations, ensuring full compliance with organizational security policies.
- Monitor SOC service delivery against established SLAs and KPIs, escalating performance issues as necessary.
- Drive governance practices to align IT operations with security, compliance, and performance requirements.
- Partner with business units to conduct security assessments for all new and existing vendor projects.
- Evaluate third-party suppliers against confidentiality, integrity, and availability (CIA) standards.
- Collaborate with Risk and Vendor Management teams to implement corrective actions for identified security gaps.
- Provide expert advisory services on emerging technologies and security frameworks to reduce organizational risk.
- Develop and maintain comprehensive organizational information security policies and IT contingency plans.
- Oversee vulnerability scanning and security assessments, tracking findings through to successful remediation.
- Prepare high-level security governance reports for the Board of Trustees and executive leadership.
Required Qualifications
- Undergraduate degree in Computer Science, Information Security, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in information security leadership or governance roles.
- Active CISSP (Certified Information Systems Security Professional) certification is mandatory.
- Demonstrated ability to manage complex vendor relationships and enforce strict compliance standards.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to communicate technical risks to non-technical business partners.
- Experience with SOC oversight and monitoring service delivery metrics.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple high-priority security initiatives simultaneously.
Work Environment
This is a hybrid position based in Malvern, PA. Candidates must be able to commute to the office as required by the team schedule. This is a long-term contract opportunity offering stability and the chance to lead significant security transformations within a major organization.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $150,000 – $210,000 per year (Estimated)
