Job Overview:
We are looking for an experienced Infra Architect with a strong background in Azure and observability tools to design and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance cloud architectures. This role requires extensive experience in architectural design, infrastructure-as-code, containerization, and CI/CD pipelines. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of leading technical initiatives, collaborating with stakeholders, and mentoring team members.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and high-performance Azure cloud architectures.
- Design and implement robust observability solutions using tools like New Relic, LGTM, Prometheus, and Grafana.
- Define and implement alerting mechanisms, SLO/SLI metrics, and reliability KPIs.
- Utilize Azure CLI and PowerShell for infrastructure management.
- Integrate multiple APIs and data sources to enhance monitoring and analytics capabilities.
- Develop and deploy web applications on the Azure platform.
- Implement infrastructure-as-Code using tools like Terraform and Ansible.
- Manage containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes (AKS).
- Work within an Agile development environment.
- Integrate code scanning tools into CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Jenkins).
- Collaborate with stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Evaluate and recommend tools, frameworks, and technologies aligned with organizational goals.
- Create and maintain architecture documentation, diagrams, and technical roadmaps.
- Mentor and guide team members on technical implementation and troubleshooting.
- Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback.
- Execute migration from New Relic to LGTM stack, ensuring minimal downtime and data integrity (nice to have).
Primary (Must-Have) Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in an Architectural role.
- 8+ years of experience working on Observability tools like New Relic, LGTM, or Prometheus.
- 3+ years of experience defining and implementing alerting mechanisms, SLO/SLI metrics, and reliability KPIs.
- 10+ years of experience in Azure Infrastructure.
- 6+ years of experience in Azure CLI and PowerShell.
- 3+ years of experience integrating APIs and connecting multiple data sources for dashboards and analytics.
- 6+ Years of experience in defining the solution, implementing the design, developing, and deploying web applications in Azure platform.
- 6+ years of experience in infrastructure-as-Code tools (Terraform, Ansible) for deployment.
- 6+ years of experience in containerization and orchestration (Docker/Kubernetes).
- 6+ years of experience in Agile development environment.
- Experience in New Relic APM, dashboards, alerts, logs, and NRQL queries.
- Strong understanding of core Azure services.
- Comfortable with Kubernetes concepts and administration (AKS).
- Basic knowledge of microservices architecture.

- Experience with Grafana (Loki, Tempo, Mimir, Prometheus Queries) and converting NRQL.
- Understanding of existing dashboards under New Relic.
- Experience with CI/CD pipelines and basic DevOps tasks.
Experience Requirements:
- 16+ years of overall experience.

Special Requirements
Note: Grafana LGTM (who can handle Loki, Tempo, Mimir, Prometheus Queries) which needs to convert from NRQL. Need to understand existing dashboards under New Relic. CICD Pipelines and who can handle basic DevOps.
Compensation & Location
Salary: $140,000 – $190,000 per year
