Job Summary:

HMG America LLC is seeking a skilled Infrastructure Cloud Engineer with strong Terraform experience to join our direct client’s team. This is an onsite role in Dallas, TX, requiring local candidates only. The position involves designing, implementing, and automating cloud infrastructure across major cloud providers, ensuring security, compliance, and cost optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement cloud infrastructure using Terraform across AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules and templates.
  • Integrate Terraform workflows with ServiceNow and GitHub.
  • Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring of cloud resources.
  • Manage cloud resource lifecycle, including tagging, cleanup, and optimization.
  • Troubleshoot infrastructure and application issues in production and staging environments.
  • Ensure compliance with security, governance, and cost management policies.
  • Collaborate with support teams to resolve incidents and implement preventive measures.
  • Analyze cloud usage and costs; recommend optimizations.
  • Implement cost control strategies using automation and policies.
  • Generate reports and dashboards for cloud spend visibility.
  • Apply security best practices in infrastructure design and operations.
  • Manage IAM roles, policies, and access controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices.
  • Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud provider: AWS, Azure, or GCP.
  • Strong understanding of networking, security, and cloud-native services.
  • Scripting skills in Python, Bash, or PowerShell.
  • Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Must be local to Dallas, TX.

Employment Type:

Contract (6-12 months)

Salary: $70 – $90 per year (Estimated)
