About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Infrastructure Engineer to lead and contribute to high-level technical initiatives across infrastructure and business domains. This role involves designing, developing, testing, and implementing complex infrastructure solutions, with a strong focus on supporting middleware messaging environments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and contribute to high-level technical initiatives across infrastructure and business domains.
- Design, develop, test, and implement complex infrastructure solutions.
- Support middleware messaging environments (IBM MQ, Kafka, IBM ACE/IIB, Solace).
- Perform installation, configuration, patching, and troubleshooting activities.
- Drive improvements in system recovery, reliability, and performance.
- Ensure security best practices including secrets management and key rotation.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and achieve project goals.
- Support production environments and handle incident management efficiently.
Required Skills & Experience:
- 4+ years of experience in Infrastructure Engineering or related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with Middleware Messaging (IBM MQ, Kafka, ACE/IIB, Solace).
- Experience in Linux and/or Mainframe production support.
- Expertise in MQ Queue Manager configuration, clustering, and troubleshooting.
- Experience managing MQ objects (Queues, Channels, Listeners, Topics).
- Familiarity with monitoring tools such as IR360.
- Hands-on experience with Kafka Connect (source and sink connectors).
- Knowledge of SSL certificate management and security practices.
- Experience with Ansible automation.
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in enterprise-level environments.
- Exposure to IBM MQ on zOS, zLinux, or AIX.
- Familiarity with IBM MQ Appliance.
- Experience with ServiceNow and incident management processes.
- Knowledge of networking concepts and load balancers (F5/AVI).
- Basic Linux administration and shell scripting skills.

Compensation & Location
Salary: $100,000 – $140,000 per year (Estimated)
